Cheating at tiling!

    hello folks,

Iv tiled before and its not a bother.
I would normally find the centre point of the room, line up everything and off I go working from centre outwards.
I now have a kitchen to tile which will be surrounded on three sides by units. Tiles plus spacers work out at 9.2 tiles for the width. So I can have 0.6 of a tile each side. But whats the point if the units are covering them? Wouldn't it be better to have whole tiles visible rather than partial?
So, I am tempted to start the tiling at the only wall which will be visible and work my way across the room from there. The room is pretty square as far as I can tell.
    Thoughts?

Well you won't be long finding out if its square or not.

if there are going to be units all around then even if its a tad off square, it might not make much difference especially if you keep out a bit from the side walls when starting off.

You'll curse yourself if you do this. Planning a half tile at the edge will forgive a lot.
