Challenging a ticket?

    Not sure if we can discuss this or not - apologies if not.:)

    A friend of mine got a ticket today for failing to display a tax disc I believe but she has it displayed on window just not 100% of it is visible but most of it is.

    60€ fine - is it worth her challenging this?

    Post a pic. The tax disc has to be legible I'd guess.

    On my previous car the date on the tax disc was mostly hidden by the wiper blades. Went through a few Garda checkpoints where they had to lift the wiper blade to see the date on it, never had a problem other than an annoyed glare from the Guard though.
    And yes, I did position the disc holder myself but didn't line it up specifically to hide the date, was just an accident :p
