Cracks around door

There are cracks around one edge of a couple of door frames in my house and horizontal cracks along the staircase. The cracks around the door are about 2-3mm thick. I had a survey done when I bought the house last year and minor cracking was observed however a more extensive study would be needed to check for movement. The house was built in the 1950s. Do I need a more extensive study done and how much do these cost? or do these cracks sound superficial?
(I have a photo of the crack however I'm not sure how to add to a post!). Thanks.

House is 60 years old? have they change since last year when you moved in? Are these plasterboard or block? Have they been filled previously?

We can't offer structural advice here. You need a structural eng to visit and advise

Thanks Bryan F. The house was probably repainted and all cracks filled when before it was sold so the cracks have appeared since. The cracks are on an external board which are lined with plasterboard. How do you go about finding a reliable structural engineer and do you know how much do they cost??

    2/300€ would cover a consultation
