    Hi Folks,

Was in a pub in Clonbur last week and I saw a sign on the wall for a craft beer called Foxes something?

    Does anyone know of this?

I was driving so couldn't have any. Symbol is obviously a fox but other than that I can't seem to locate it on the web or in a few shops I've been to.

    Cheers.

Brewed by Alltech's Station Works brewery in Newry. I haven't tried the full range but I've not been impressed by any of them so far.

I had their Irish Pale Ale.....it was ok, but nothing to write home about.
Their branding and labeling is cool tho....

Never judge a beer by its branding ;)

Foxes rock? I tried them in a four for ten deal in centra.

Nothing special, not bad. In similar deals, i Wouldn't take them over bru, haras etc, or even osheas from aldi (cheaper and tastier)

I like the Foxe's Rock IPA. Different strokes and all that!!!

Probably a bit swayed by the nice Foxes Rock glass I have at home.

I've had their stout recently and liked it (and probably would rate it over Bru). Might have been influenced by the fact I picked some up half-price in Tesco though! :D

Can't speak for any of the others though.

Their IPA is very bland. I do like their glasses though!

As pointed out though, like Franciscan Well it's owned by a multinational so it's not one to go for if you're looking to support small independent Irish brewers.

It's a weird one though, because instead of being owned by a multi-national brewery conglomerate, it's owned by a multi-national, multi-billion dollar valued equine feed producer!
