no Aldi in Norn Iron, so it would probably have to be the AnPost service:
While geographical location can restrict some of the delivery services we are able to offer on some products, we deliver to most postal areas in mainland UK.

Damm the An Post address wont fit into Aldi's address field, says a max of 30 characters per field.

that was one of the (many) criticisms of AddressPal on this forum. Does it still not fit if you abbreviate AddressPal to "AP"?

Didn't AnPost issue letters recently where they said they changed the length of the IDs?

I've not used AddressPal yet but I do remember getting a letter about it.

I only signed up yesterday with them and the address they gave me was
    FirstName LastName
    AP 44A 2784 0217829
    Air Business
    Unit 5, The Merlin Centre
    Acrewood Way
    St Albans
    Herts AL4 0JY

    Aldi have 2 options
    1) Postcode which is no good as does not show the exact address but about 8 other businesses
    2) Manual address input into 3 or 4 boxes and none to have more that 30 characters each

You can drop the Herts for a start, royal mail deleted counties from postal addresses a couple of years ago. Theres only 14 matches for that postcode so Air Business plus the postcode should be enough to get it delivered especially with the volume of packages that they would be taking in.

This should be more than sufficient and fits in 30 characters.

If you don't use your name at the top of the address, will the Post Office staff actually give you the parcel when you go to pick it up?

Theres seperate boxes for the name, the issue is cramming the address and ap number into 4 lines one of which has to be postcode.

What payment method did you use? If you used Revolut, you'll probably need to change your address in the Revolut app to match the delivery address you inputted on the Aldi website.

I'm in the same boat, just checked my purchase from earlier today that I thought had gone through & it's saying order cancelled. Any ideas as to how to get the payment to go through with the Irish billing address/UK delivery address? Thanks

Joined Revolut, topped up and changed the address on it and made my order. Looks like all went fine and got ordered email and money taken from the credit card

If Aldi has the same structure as Lidl in that the Lidl UK operation only covers GB and NI comes within the remit of Lidl Ireland (and Aldi Ireland simply hasn't decided to open stores in NI yet), then Aldi UK may deliberately choose not to deliver to NI.

But certainly worth trying if nobody has yet.

It says on their site that they post to "most locations in mainland UK" so I doubt they'd send it to NI but I suppose there's no harm giving it a shot. It will probably reject your order due to the postcode during the order process if it doesn't work.

    Thanks lads.

I know it was bought locally buy we picked up the Hose and Reel Cart in Aldi today and there doesn't seem to be a special buys super thread to post in.

The Hose Cart for €25 is really high quality, the frame and drum is made of proper metal and there's a nice bit of weight to it.

The one we bought in Lidl a good few years back had that crappy cheap chrome coloured tubing and a plastic drum, and the whole cart would come dragging with the hose when you pulled it!

The new Aldi one stays put when you pull it, it has a little pulley the Hose goes through that spins when when you pull the Hose to stop it dragging too.

Surprised it's so good for the price.

Collected by Aldi juicer from the local post office yesterday, I was the first to use the new An Post uk packages so it took 15 minutes for the post lady to work things out.

Is this still possible? Payment keeps failing for me. Not sure where I'm going wrong..
