I'm looking to purchase a cable tone generator for tracing cables. Just wondering can anyone recommend a particular type? I've been looking at the one in the link below. I know there are cheaper ones available but I previously purchased one online and it wasn't very good, the tone wasn't strong enough if there was a group of cables, it was hard to tell which cable was which. Any help greatly appreciated!

I have something similar for the past 15 years or so, same brand. I bought the same model that the Eircom techs used but I don't remember paying that much for it so shop around.
I also have a paladin one which works quite well
