    Hey folks,

Bit of a specific request, but I'm looking to find Irish-based craft brewers that sell their beer in 330ml bottles.

I'm looking to buy a few cases of them (unlabelled) as favours for a wedding and want to stick to that size as a way of keeping the cost down and keeping on the good side of the venue in regards to bringing it onto their premises.

So far most I've found deal in 500ml bottles - the main exceptions being McGargles, 8 Degrees and Franciscan Well... however they're either unable to supply me or else they're a bit on the pricey side.

Who am I missing that might be able to help me out?

Porterhouse, 5 Lamps, Brú and Jack Cody's all do 330ml bottles.

O'Hara's do as well but mainly for export. They might be able to help out if you ring them though.

Other option is 330ml cans. Rascals, Metalman and Blacks all do them. Bit less classy perhaps though...

Thanks lads - Had tried Porterhouse & White Hag but they can't help me out (I think selling direct to the public is an issue).

Will give all the others a try now, thanks again.

As for cans - the plan is to put personalised labels on them so not sure how that would work on a can... might be a back-up plan though!

Buy them in the shops and remove the labels by sitting in water.

That's an option - along with getting some home-brew (from myself or a friend).

Trying to see if buying direct can save me a few quid first, though.

Can 8 degrees definately not supply because they seem to sell direct to public from their website with pickup from the brewery ?

They can but the price seems a bit on the high-side - if I have to add corkage for the venue it would work out as too expensive. Trying to see if I can get a better deal anywhere else.

Do 8 degrees offer a discount for beoir members? I vaguely remember something about that but it could have been a time limited offer.

You could also try somewhere like drinkstore. If you have a beoir membership you get 10% off, so a case of Knockmealdown comes in around €41.

I think that offer was for when they started their online shop, but worth a try

Yeah I can see how that would add up quickly alright. No deal for a bulk buy from them either ?

They annoyed some of their customers by undercutting them in the past. I'd say they (and all other breweries) would be very wary of offering their beer to the public for less than it costs in a shop.

For me 8 degrees offer the nicest range of beers available in 330ml bottles.
i would rather pay a bit extra for a nice beer like their Full Irish rather than some rubbish like Tom Creans
