I am looking for the string that goes between the slide release detent and the thumb safety detent:

A TM original is prefferable bu a WE or KJW one will do.

    cash waiting!

EDIT: if there are any broken 1911's or Hi-Capa's with these small pins/ spring present I may be be interested in them also

EDIT#2: The required part is circled in red in the attached image

I've seen them on a few airsoft retailers sites called " 1911 plunger set "
    Or Google " 1911 airsoft plunger "

i am aware of this however they are sold as kits and come with the two detents (often made of steel) and the spring. These kits seem relatively cheap also but with shipping and import tax they are about the price of a new mag so with that in mind and the fact that all i need is the spring I have decided to ask for the part on forums surely there is one in a drawer somewhere

Elite shooting centre may have emailed, if it's just the spring and not the pins use a click pen or lighter spring

    Works when cut

Cheers for the tip but all the pens I looked in had springs that were just too fat :/
