Posting something to EU - Tracking?

    For something I am selling I have been asked whether I will send to Portugal. i said I would check the postage etc. Do An Post track all the way to Portugal? or could I be caught by the possibility of the buyer saying he hasn't received it, making a claim etc etc. Is An Post Registered International tracked all the way?

    I will of course only post to Paypal registered address, but if I send through Registered International could I still be possibly scammed?

    Is the buyer offering full price and no haggling. - Sign of scam if no haggling

    Is the item you are selling generally available in Portugal. - If available, why would they buy from Ireland? Is htere a good reason fro them to buy from Ireland?

    Is the buyer offering to pay by paypal in the original email / contact? - They are trying to make you confident of the purchase.


    If it seems too good to be true - walk away.

    anpost is very good just send the item registered and register for email notification and you will be alerted as soon as it is signed for
    i sent a pair of boots to poland and they arrived in 3 days
    just posted a watch worth a grand to czech rep
    all detailed and signed for
