How's it going, having awful trouble trying to update my 3DS to new software. It updates a bit and then comes up with and error message saying that something has occured. The internet etc is working fine and have no firewalls etc on my router... Any ideas? Cheers.

Yeah, that happens a lot and it can be infuriating. The 3DS is extremely needy when it comes to a solid internet connection. Even if the internet is fine for everything else, it'll cough up an error code.

The simplest solution is to find somewhere with very strong internet - my work internet in my case - and update from there.

I have the same problem, every device works grand but the 3DS wont ever update (games and store run fine). End up going to a coffee shop or anywhere with free wifi and sit down for 5 mins with a drink as it updates.

If on UPC you have to disable the router firewall, that fixes the issue (you can then turn the firewall back on once done)
