Holy Sh*t, Lucas Browne just put in one of the bravest performances I've seen a quite a while coming back from a heavy knockdown and quite a few wobbles to stop Chagaev in the 10th.

Even if he hadn't won, his heart was fantastic. He just never stropped trying, even when in trouble.

Chagaev can have no complaints, he was badly hurt, then in the followup didn't throw a single punch back or even try to hold.

Congrats Lucas.

Very enjoyable fight, with some monstrous punching from Brown to close the show. The right hand that dropped Ruslan in the 10th was stunning!

Delighted for him, as has been said he seems a genuinely nice guy. He comes to fight and I can't see him avoiding anyone, good for the division.

Yeah I watched it. Thompson learned quickly enough that he was outgunned and boxed accordingly. Was dropped in the 1st and 3rd and stopped in the 6th. Looked more like a stay busy fight for Ortiz than anything else. Wouldn't learn a lot from it but it keeps his name out there.

It's a lot harder to have sympathy for boxers who choose to use drugs to make them a more efficient and deadly boxer-fighter as opposed to many other athletes in other sports.
