Not sure if this should be here or in the county forum, Passage is almost a suburb now.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone is familiar with the above apartments. A relative is coming back from abroad to work in Ringaskiddy & is looking at renting an apartment in Steampacket House. Rent is very reasonable and good for access to work. The old railway line is also an attraction as he is a jogger/cyclist.

I know Passage takes a lot of knocking but this guy is single and wouldn't be socialising there. Can anyone shed any light on what kind of complex this is & the area around it? I know nothing about the place but have been tasked to find out :(

I dont know anything about the apartments other than they name.. But they havent gotten any bad reviews by looking around.. Passage is grand but if you are an outsider it came be hard thats the only thing..commuting to Ringaskiddy would be rather easy from there most defiantly, even for the bus... Shanbally would be even closer but not a lot happens there

Know the complex only to see, I lived in Passage for a few years found it a grand spot. Drank in all the pubs and became a local in the Criterion and The Tavern. One thing I don't miss is the traffic heading to Douglas which can be nightmarish at times. Its not a bad area, it looks worse than it is, overall a fine spot
