How to cancel direct debit?

    Hi,

    I need to cancel my direct debit. My online banking system (AIB) allows me to cancel direct debits but do I need to contact you and what's the process?

    What's the answer to the OP's question - if AIB allow you cancel a direct debit online why does he need to contact you?

    To ensure that a direct debit is stopped on both ends, customers can contact us with the above requested details in order for us to locate their account and we will confirm this.
