    Hi guys,

We're really stuck for a decent wedding band at the moment. It's not until July next year but anybody we like seems to be already booked up.

Any recommendations for bands in the Munster area that people have actually seen? We're looking for something a bit fun that will engage with the crowd and keep everybody moving with a nice mix of music. They don't have to do the best king of leon cover of all time or anything like that. We're more into having a fun time. The siege of Ennis would also be required at some stage for half the families at it or there'd be a revolt :D

I saw this band in Galway last year (not a Wedding) and they were unbelievable, I'd highly recommend them for any occasion, check them out .......... they're called The Humble EarthWorms.

It seems its not recommendations you want at this stage but a free band.
    1. Post in the sticky in this weddings section with your date and general location for a free band to pm you.
    2. go on to facebook, look for cover bands ireland group. Post same thing in there. all the bands are on there, if anyones free they'll send you a pm.
    3. go to weddings online and post there.
    4. go to the weddings bands ireland website, you can send your date and location to their online form.

after youve got the list of all the free bands, check out reviews, sites and videos and narrow down to 3 and go and view.

Put your details into the Wedding Band Association website and bands will email you if they're available. We had a great response to ours (granted its in 2017!). Worth a shot anyway

really? I can say it's definitely not a free band I'm after and I'm after a good band and willing to pay for it.

I think Clint meant "free" as in "available" not in the financial sense.

Yes... lol, I didnt understand why the first comment was made but the way milly put it made me reread and my intention was misread... If anyone finds a "free" as in financial sense let me know. :D

My intended meaning was you can get recommendations all day without knowing whether they're free/available, wasting your time. If all the bands you looked at already are booked, narrow your viewing and research time down to bands who are available. Find that out by following earlier instructions. you will get someone.
