Casual Dockets and second part-time job

I currently work 2-3 days per week and fill out casual dockets for the remainder of the week. I've been offered a 10 week stint with a part-time job working to my own schedule.

I'm wondering where this leaves me with the casual dockets? Will my claim be cut off for the duration or would it be alright to do the work in the evenings after my usual working day to avoid going over the 3 day working week?

Subsidiary employment rights were mentioned to me but I'm not sure how that works. Any information appreciated!

You will have to call into your social welfare office and let them know you have a 2nd employer. You will be issued with a second set of dockets to have completed by this employer. If you are on JA then any income from this 2nd employment will be assessed. I dont see why you cant work this job in the evening on the same days as your current job. Subsidiary employment will not come into play in your situation....subsidiary employment is checked out when for instance a person has been working full time but has another part time job that does not inhibit their ability to be available and looking for full time work if their full time position is terminated.
