Hope Fosu-Mensah gets some minutes. I like the cut of his jib.

Hope we can keep up the momentum with another decent win and no further injuries!! Looking forward to this for a change :D

Looks quite a good, strong player. If we can't fit him in his natural position i'd still like to see him get a bit of time on the pitch, even as a left back where he didn't look out of place at all.

You have Carrick in the starting line up, but not in the squad as per MEN :)

want to see basically the same line up that played arsenal.

    Smalling in for Carrick.
Maybe Martial in for Rashford. That is a maybe based on Martial's fitness and the fact we are playing two big EL games, a FA Cup game and a massive league game over the next 6 fixtures, including tonight - its not based on thinking Rashford is the next Messi/Ronaldo.
Possibly Darmian in at left back - Varela should keep his place.

A must win game for United to keep the confidence building ahead of a massive 18 days.

Hopefully the style of play from the last few games continues - with pace, movement and risk. Rather than back to tippy tappy "WAIT FOR AN OPENING" possession football we see most of the time.

    The new Blackett?

    No.

Fosu-Mensah may not make it, just like many players don't make it - but he is a far better prospect than Blackett or, before him, Fryers, were. Has dominated at U18 level in a way neither other player did - and has dominated in his U21 appearances like neither other player did.

He isn't a left back though, so if that was the position he was to be given his break/chance in, it wouldn't bode well for him. Only recently started played right full for the U21 side, has looked good there, to be fair. Has played centrally in either defence or midfield for U18 and U21 sides for the most part.

Not the new Blackett imo - a far better prospect than Blackett.

    Hi Oranage.

You went very quiet quite suddenly on Sunday.

I was worried something had happened to you.

Good to see you are alright chum.

The old Blackett would have been sufficient Sunday :pac:

He's more of a one of those guys who bet Arsenal recently than a Blackett tbh

    I love you

Unfortunately can't see Watford doing much tonight. They are already on holiday mode I feel. We could easily frustrate United as we'll sit back and try absorb the onslaught (which isn't the way to go about this game imo). Flores has shown an unwillingness to have a go at the big teams in most games so far.

Because United have had a short turnaround with game after game coming, I'm hoping we give it a go. Badly need Jurado back though. United really struggled in the second half at Vicarage Road and were lucky to come out of the game in the end with 3 points.

I think a well organised defense could cause United problems tbh and that's what Watford are. Hopefully the United forwards continue to be clinical because I feel they could do well to get 2 in this one.

I agree with you regarding that. But Watford need to show some sort of emphasis on attacking too, because I don't think they'll hold out if they don't score. I'm excited for it though, one more win and we're safe, what a way this would be to seal it!

Really like the look of the front four. Think we will see martial and depay switch a lot. While martial would be better from the left I think we need to stick with depay over on that side given that he is starting to show some form.

    United to win 2-0

Any channel outside of uk showing this?

Front four shaping up nicely there alright. I like the look of that... have a feeling that there could be a few goals tonight.. going for a 3-1 home win.

1-1, just so I can look prophetic in the face of all the optimism when it goes tits up.

My wish: United, Liverpool, Swansea and West Ham wins.

Really hard to know how this could go, I would worry for Blind & Rojo against Deeney & Igalho. Can't see a clean sheet, sneaking a 2-1 win would be a great result but could easily see a let down after Sunday so will predict 0-1 Watford.
