issues with accessing the bill after moving abroad

    Hello, as of 15.02.2016 myself and my husband left the apartment we rented in Ennis, Clare and Ireland in general for good. Prior to that I contacted the Irish Water to provide the leaving date so that we could receive the final bill. I was asked for my email address and the bill was supposed to be sent over on 16th of February. Indeed, I received an email from Irish Water, but  in order to view it I needed to log into My Water, which I have never done before as I never signed up an account on your website. When I tried to do it, it turned out that our account and wprn no. were rejected. I tried to contact Irish water with that matter through the contact forms but all I got was a request to call your customer line. As we currently live in Poland it makes little sense to me as it is going to be quite an expensive pleasure and besides what is the point of setting internet services if all they do is nothing. It is much easier for me to communicate online and I believe this matter can be resolved this way. All I am asking is to be either sent an email containing PDF with our bill or a way to access it online so we can finally pay it and move on. Seriously, if we were trying to avoid the responsibility of settling that matter that would be the perfect opportunity, but unlike many citizens we have nothing against paying for water and we want to see this to the end.
    Looking forward to hearing from you with something more than asking us to spend money on your customer line and coming up with the solution as all this situation seems to be really silly and easy to resolve.
    Regards.

    Hi agnes85,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    We can certainly look into this for you. Would you mind sending the following details via PM:

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact number; and
    - Confirmation that you were financially responsible for the account while you lived in the property.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Allanah
