I registered for self employment last year my main income is paye but I moved jobs and still do a small amount of work for my old company and a friend of mine who has a business I did not earn over the limit of 3,174 for a chargeable person last year but expected to earn close to 4,500 this year which was why I originally registered for Self employment. The limit has now gone up to 5,000 from 01/01/16 so because I wont earn over that I can deregister for self employment and just submit a form 12 instead for the extra income I earned last year?
