Support - Alonso, Button, Ricciardo and Grosjean.

I'll be rooting for Rosberg over Hamilton now that I can't stand him.

Will root for Ferrari in a straight fight with Merc and would lean more towards Vettel.

I've always liked Williams but don't like either of their drivers. That pisses me off. Still delighted when they get a good result.

I've a soft spot Force India and their drivers but I wouldn't call it support.

I'm a fan of Verstappens driving but he's a bit of a robot so, again, I wouldn't call it support. He's plenty of time ahead of him though!

The rest I don't care about.

Oh and I miss Crashtor already.

I've been following Alonso since he rolled out in 2001 in the Minardi. Still have the Minardi team shirt in my wardrobe from then.

In general, is there something about irish people supporting him?

Lewis was all right until he formed this 'gangsta' persona of late. Rosberg in my opinion is dull as ditchwater so I'm hoping Vettel in the Ferrari can leave both of them behind on the grid.
As for who I will be following, I think I'll wait for the firt 3 Grand Prix before making up my mind.

God help me, I'll be supporting Vettel and hoping he can mount some kind of challenge against the Mercedes boys.

If you told me a few years ago that I'd be supporting Vettel, I would have laughed at you.

Something must happen to me when when a German moves to Ferrari, because I used to hate Schumi too.

Anyone but Hamilton basically.

I opted for:

Vettel - because I'd like to see him win the title. He won't though, I fear the Mercs will run away with it with an even bigger margin that last year. Hopefully I'm wrong. If I'm not, I'd prefer Rosberg to win it, only so Hamilton doesn't equal Vettel's 4 titles. :pac:

Verstappen - I'm hoping he has an even stronger year this time around. Would love to see him in a better car. See how he handles the pressure closer to the front of the grid.

I'd like to see Alonso do well, feel sorry for him stuck at the back.

Alonso - just cos he's Alonso, you know? He's got to do better this year, I don't hold out hope that he'll win a championship again, or even a race, but I'd like to see him end his career on a high.

Rosberg - always like Rosberg and his approach. I'd like him to win this year as he shouldn't be a forgotten number 2, danger of turning into Mark Webber.

Kimi - cos he's Kimi freakin' Raikkonen. There's no one like him in F1.

Carlos - newish boy, good racer, fast, seems a little more interesting than Max. I won't support Red Bull but I like Torro Rosso!

Grosjean - he's had a bit of a journey so far in F1, I'd like to see him settle into a team a bit but I don't think Haas is it. Also interested to see how Haas do.

Button - nice guy, good racer, honest and self-deprecating at times. I'd like to see him do well for the same reason as Alonso.

I won't "follow" Lewis but won't be able to avoid him either. There's times I don't like him and I'm times I'm in awe of him - if he's the fastest driver on the day then no one can touch him in his top form. I don't think he'll be as dominating this year, I think Nico will seriously challenge him, so we're bound to see some sarky comments and behaviour.

Seriously though, there's no doubting Hamilton's ability but he's obviously a divisive figure personality wise. I like him but I just don't want him to win again this year, or at least to have to fight for it for more than half the season.

I voted for Vettel simply because he's the only one with a slight chance of beating the Mercs. I didn't like him at Red Bull but love his style at Ferrari. And I'm not a Ferrari fan at all so it's kind of weird!
I was a huge Hakkinen fan in the 90's/early 2,000's so I feel like I'm betraying him by cheering for a German in a Ferrari.
I'd like to see Ricciardo do well too. Just neither of the Mercs please!

Rookies will be interesting to see
Previous world champions usually have the ability to do something special (Vettel especially)
Redbull on a good day could probably punch above their (engine performance) weight

Got the impression Ferrari didn't have good pre season testing

Personallity wise any driver who doesn't moan and whinge or make too many excuses (or at least less than their teammate) helps, like Perez/Button/Max/Rosberg/Bottas/Hulkenberg/Ricciardo/Magnussen/Grosjean

The poll is closed, but I'm supporting Vettel, Button and Ricciardo. I have a soft spot for Hulkenburg too.

I love F1, but I don't think I can take another season of Hamilton dominating in a car that's 0.8 of a second faster than the nearest competitor. Hopefully Rosberg can reproduce his form from the last few races last season but he's not a match for him really. I would prefer if Ferrari & Red Bull (well, the ol' wind up "Tag Heuer" engine), can really step up and take the fight to the Mercs with their development.
