Hi, I need to get external insulation done on my 3 bed semi. I have had conflicting advice on the ventilation options. One company says they will retrofit vents to my pvc windows and another company says no way to this as it can damage the windows. I am slow to drill permanent holes in the walls and I feel down the line…

I am slow to drill permanent holes in the walls and I feel down the line the windows will have to be replaced so I can get ones that have vents then. At least the windows aren't permanent whereas a hole in the wall is. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks.

Would love to get some views on this same problem myself. I'm hearing that retrofitting a vent destroys the window.
