    Does this not apply online? There's election articles all over the main papers sites.

    Nope, it does not apply online. Only on Radio and TV I believe.

    Besides Healy Eames I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to even attempt enforcing something like that online.

    "It would be perfectly cromulent to shut down the internet for the day to prevent people talking about the election.

    Turning off the whiffy would be the first step and after that eh....... anyone who needed to use the internet could go to an internet camp where their access would be supervised.

    I am putting forward legislation to this effect shortly."

    Yeah, you're talking a whole lot of trash about a great woman like Fidelma but at least if they shut it off for a day nobody could get "raped on Facebook."
