had a problem with my heating system recently since some work was done to my house. Air seemed to be getting into the radiators and I was constantly bleeding. plumber came back and turned a dial on the cistern down from three to 2. that solved that. now I have a problem in that there are two pumped showers in the house and one electric. The power seems to have gone completely from the two pumped down to a cold trickle. the two problems must be related - any ideas?

What do you mean he turned a dial on a cistern?

Sorry, not directly on the cistern but there is a box to one side of the cistern with a dial and numbers 1,2 and 3 on it. It's not the pump as that is over the other side.

Have u a pic. It sounds like a circulating pump which has nothing to do with the showers.
