Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Deep house disco & boogie
    Free admission....

    We'll be kicking off a year of Downtownsounds celebrations for our 15th year with an intimate little soiree in the downstairs bar of The Grand Social on Saturday Feb 27th. Admission will be free and good times are a guarantee…..

    We’ll be beefing up the sound and bringing in a Rane Rotary mixer for the evening so it sounds as lush as is humanly possible for our residents Pablo, Louche, Jimmy Bee and Fanto.

    They’ll be bringing out lots of disco, house and techno classics for the night that’s in it, as well as banging out some box fresh jams that you’ll be soon be clinging close to your heart.

    We’ll continue with the birthday celebrations with our one of favourite guests from down the years, Chicago’s DJ Rahaan, at Wigwam ( formerly Twisted Pepper) on Saturday March 12th, with Pablo on support duties.

    We’ll be carrying on with more one off parties throughout the year, as well as throwing out the fourth and final 12 of our ‘Downtownsounds Classics’ vinyl series on Pablo’s label Fatty Fatty Phonographics, with 3 more fully licensed dancefloor killers for the front of your box.
