How can i get british stamps in ireland?

I wish to email an author in England (John Arthur Cunliffe, creator of postman pat, My younger cousin is obsessed with him and postman pat so for his birthday i thought id mail him a letter asking for a signed picture, to do this i need a letter with my return address on it with british stamps.
