TRCN1 Help

After contacting Revenue about receiving a letter stating I'd failed to file income tax for 2014 they said I was meant to fill in a TRCN1 also and this is why I received the letter after having ceased trading in 2013.

I had no idea of this as I thought filling in a RBN3 for a partnership with the CRO was the correct notice (of which I now know I was wrong).

I'm unsure about whether I'm filling in the TRCN1 for myself or the partnership? As the warning letter referred to Form11 (sole trader) and not Form1 (firms) I presume that I fill in my own PPS number for 'Reference No.' However, the 'type of business' question led me to wonder if this should be the 'writer', 'sole trader' or 'parternship'.

    Any help appreciated.

You need to complete one TRCN1 for each partner who is de-registering and another one for the partnership.

    Thanks SRASE,

So I'm filling in TRCN1 for the partnership, another for myself and will advise the other check with the other partners on whether they have.

It feels like a lot a lot of reptition as 'reason', dates, premises, etc. would be the same in all forms. Basically, nearly all answers are the same.
