    can any one recommend a good make of electric submersible pump
    need one that could handle storm water light slurry and maybe the odd stone:o

    Tsurumi. Don't buy one with a float valve.

    pedrollo vxm best ya can buy we sell them bout 350 has a macerator on bottom will chop every thing that gets in it's way cast iron body to so built to last

    Theirs dirty water pumps in lidl ón thursday for 50 euro have one here for years with nó problems

    Floats are inclinedto be troublesome. Probably fine in your application as it's probably in one place all the time. If you are using it in different locations floats are inclined to malfunction usually in the on position and pumps burnout.

    doesn't seem to matter if we buy expensive or cheap, not much difference in life span

    usually 5 to 7 years

    using 2 sip atm

    Using a sip here last one packed up when a bit of rope got wrapped round the impeller

    fairly cheap in fairness

    I pumped 4 foot out of a four bay slurry tank that filled with water during the floods.

    EPS Ballyhaunis sell good pumps. They appear to be redoing their website but afaik they do pedrollo

    Any one know who sells pedrollo submersible pumps cant find any one in ireland on line ?

    We’ve a hire spec pump here, I’ll check the brand in the morning but we boight it in Ace Hire in Ashbourne. €450 I think it was along woth 20m of lay flat hose.

    Yep, EPS do Pedrollo pumps. At least they did a few years ago when I replaced my well pump.
