I saw a message posted on both Twitter and Facebook about Mary Fitzgibbon using a photograph that she did not get permission to use from the photographer who lives in Ontario Canada. Lindsay Foster the owner of the image posted https://twitter.com/LFoster_Photos/status/701261637228036096 on twitter that links back to her post on facebook https://www.facebook.com/Linzfoster/photos/a.132286286846146.32774.115929061815202/980631242011642/?type=3&theater The image that been used has had part of the watermark cropped off it and if someone buys a stock image from a site the watermark is removed. Using an photograph that was copied off a webpage for personal use without busing a license and asking permission is in breach of our Copyright and Related Acts 2000. Ms Fitzgibbon is running for election and won't even follow the rules in our own Statute books. She has been asked to take the image down and wont.
