    folks,

    We recently renovated a 3 bed + 1 over garage semi d.

We put 82.5mm insulated plasterboard on almost all walls and triple glaze windows in.

We didnt insulate the wall adjoining the garage and I think this may be the reason the hallway is cold. Funnily enough I did a raised floor in the room over the garage and insulated under it.

So, whats the best / cheapest way to insulate this ?

I am thinking of putting up more of the 82.5 on the inside of the garage and that way if we wish to convert at some point this will already be done, or does the insulation need to be on the inside ( up along the stairs )?

    Thanks
    Rob

better to do inside the garage as you wouldnt have structures such as the stair string etc to content with.
