Water question

My office is quite humid and stuffy and I'm constantly thirsty. I drink water all day long, probably 6 large glasses a day, but I'm still so thirsty when I get home. I never seem to have had enough. Could the humid environment mean the water isn't absorbing and I'm not actually getting the goodness I need?

No it could not. Do you pee a lot?

Well that is where the water is going.

You should consider seeing a doctor as excessive thirst is a potentially medically relevant symptom.

    6 glasses of water isn't a whole lot to be honest. It's about 1.5 litres (6 x 250ml).
If you are peeing a lot and not absorbing it, then either you don't need it, or you have an electrolyte imbalance

Yes...I didn't want to get too specific. Also blood loss, but I imagine OP would have noticed losing an unusually large amount of blood.
