JSB - not sure what payments are for

    Hi. I have been signing on nearly 9 months now. In fact I have only 3 days dole left after today on JSB.
    I started getting dole in Mar 15. I got a job in October 15 but left it after three weeks for legitimate reasons. Welfare office were happy not to suspend me. I started getting dole again in December 15. At this point, I applied to get my wife added as a dependent adult. I met with the assessor. It was agreed to give my wife half a payment

    Here are the payments I have received since 1st Dec

    01/12/15 - 09/12/15 - €225.60. Extra days paid - 8
    10/12/15 - 23/12/15 - €376.00. Extra days paid - 12
    24/12/15 - 30/12/15 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    31/12/15 - 06/01/16 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    07/01/16 - 13/01/16 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    14/01/16 - 20/01/16 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    21/01/16 - 27/01/16 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    28/01/16 - 03/02/16 - €188.00. Extra days paid - 6
    04/02/16 - 10/02/16 - €575.92. Marked arrears *
    11/02/16 - 17/02/16 - €250.60. Extra days paid - 6

    * I rang about the payment marked in bold above, and was told that I was getting a half payment for my wife (€62.40). I was told that the €575.92 included back payment for my wife for the month of December.

    Can anyone please explain what the €575.92 is made up of ? Should I have been given a further payment for this week of the same amount for January ? I am confused.

    It looks to me that the 4/2/16 is your normal weekly payment along with arrears for December for the ADA. You need to call in as find out when to expect the arrears for January.
