A question that's probably been asked and answered multiple times here.

Looking to replace an ageing Sky+ box with a UK (NI) viewing card that my Mum uses for the free channels. Was looking at one of the Amstrad DRX595 multiroom boxes to replace it and was wondering which EPG do I get with these newer boxes.

Wasn't there some issue with newer boxes being stuck with the Irish epg or something like that?

Not interested in a non Sky box for now (have one in the kitchen which is fine but would prefer something that she's familiar with for the living room).

you will be ok with uk card, you will get uk epg.
