Hi, I just started a new part time job and am on reduced welfare payments. I missed a week of payment while the paperwork was being sorted out. Hi, I just started a new part time job and am on reduced welfare payments. I missed a week of payment while the paperwork was being sorted out. Now welfare are sending me cheques instead of me collecting but they appear to be a week behind (I got one today the 16/02/16 for the week of the 03/02/16 -09/02/16) does anybody know is this usual protocol or should I be getting my cheque today for 09/02/16 - 16/02/16. A back week is normal,if and when you sign off there will be a week`s money there for you
