my ex not giving me my child passport copy to me to renew my visa. is anyone know what is the legal way to get copy of my child is passport? immigration office said they can not do anything without to my sons copy of passport.

They can be a bit odd like this, I once had to renew my passport, just to enable wife to renew her visa.

They required proof your child is Irish citizen I assume. you might need to get a solicitor ti investigate alternatives with immigration...
