    Hello

    is it possible to become an apprentice tradesman in Ireland in your 30's? Where should I look to find out more?

    I am beginning to think real physical skills may be the most recession proof thing you can do ,

    Talk to the relevant training officer or project officer in your local ETB. If you ring the head office they should be able to tell you who that is. The administration of apprenticeships are being moved from Solas into the ETBs so it might take a couple of calls to track down the relevant person in yuor area.
