    Hi All

    Interested in your opinions.

Looking to buy a car (either brand new or 2013+), for 2 sons starting to
drive. It will be my car too until they are up and running.

Have an old Honda crv 01 to trade in. Great car but expensive to tax and run (petrol)

    Thank you

The up is probably the coolest lf them from a young fellas point of view, the Citigo is the same car but without the badge, hardly worth it unless it's noticibly cheaper. The Hyundai has a much better warranty and smoother engine.

For guys starting to drive though, it'd prob make more sense to get something a little older as mistakes often happen when learning to drive/park etc

Would insurance on the Up differ any much from the Citigo?

I would say either of those would be the best bet. I've sat in an Up and I get the feeling they would be a very very easy car to learn in

Fiat Panda is worth a look at too.

Seat Mii same as UP / Citigroup too, great yokes to drive altogether, my favourite small car and have a great crash test rating, way ahead of the competition according to most motoring magazines.
