    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has heard or can recommend a water Softener called Combi-Mate.
Our Plummer recommended it to us.
We're in the Laois area and have a young baby boy so we need something suitable for making bottles etc...

    Any ideas?

    Type "combimate review" into google.co.uk

Most independent reviewers seem to suggest that its effect is very limited.

I'm a plumber in Laois. Maybe youre my customer!! Maybe not!
Combi mate doesn't soften your water. It only stops limescale sticking to the internal pipework. They're ok but not as good as a salt Softner.
As for babies bottles, softened water shouldn't be used anyway. There's nothing wrong with drinking hard water!
