Winter Storms

Here is a callout I got for today.
This was originally a motorised Triax TD110. About 2 years ago I took off the motor and converted to a multifeed, 3 satellites, 13, 19.2 and 28.2.

Then the recent winter storms got hold of it - wrecked the dish. Fortunately I had a second hand TD110 in the garage, so it was an easy swap. used the existing clamp on the pole, and somehow it hadn't budged, all I had to do was fit the dish to the existing clamp, and adjust elevation. The replacement is pictured with a quad installed at 28.2 in place of the original single.
Anyway, it's the worst damage I've seen to a Triax dish

WOW, it just goes to show the power of the wind up your way. It would take some effort to do that by hand.

Must have been some storm, seen plenty of buckled sly dishes, never a Triax.

Wow indeed. Also it shows how tight those bolts were fastened. Well done.
The storms have moved my dish ever so slightly. I've lost a few channels but not enough that makes me want to go and fix it.
