I have no land line since February 4th.  I ring EIR everyday and am told that it is in hand. i am stressed because my pendant (this I use in case of an emergency) works on landline only. I do not know where to go and what to do to make EIR honour its contract and restore my landline. The telegraph pole has been knocked down and the connecting wire broken off .

Really sorry to hear this conbarhan

I fully understand your concern in such circumstances and I would love to help. Please PM me your eir land line number and I will look in to this further for you.

It's worth taking note than when a pole gets knocked down and wires are broked this usually does take longer than the advised 3 working days - however, of course I will send a report on your circumstances requesting escalation to our field networks teams.

    Thanks
    Al

Thanks Al...all sorted. I went into the EIR shop in Portlaoise and a most helpful assistant rang the company and within an hour the team arrived and all good now thank God
