    Hi all
My wife is changing cars in summer hopefully. Currently has 00 petrol focus which has served us well! Original thinking was to move up the years in the Focus but after a small bit of research we have settled on the i30 .....for now anyway !
Her current mileage is 80 k a day motorway but we both have petrol so are strongly considering having a diesel for the longer trips to Dublin, home to Mayo etc (based outside galway )
Our absolute Max budget is 11000
After looking up on carzone I'm finding it hard to see if its realistic for us to be looking at the i30. We would have been happy with a 2010 but I believe the new model came out in 2011!
So does anyone have a better idea of the average price for 2011 i30? Diesel ideally but petrol if its unrealistic
We won't be buying for 6 months if that makes a differnece and will be paying cash
    many thanks

    What about this one?
Trade in the focus too and you should get this for around 9000 and it's the newer model..2011

Ya check done deal out, there's a lot in your price range. That one does have above average mileage though for a 2011

Great cars it would seem, Hyandai have come a long way since the 90's. Even the Gardaí use them.

Check similar asking priced cars from dealers on the likes of carzone.ie.

BTW a 16 year old Focus is worth next to nothing to a dealer so it might be worth selling it privately. You would probably buy the i30 with no trade-in for the same price they will want for it with the Focus. But at least you would get some cash back by selling the Focus privately.
