Does anyone know if students using digs can stay over on the weekends? I really needs to find somewhere next year in Dublin but nearly everywhere says "Sunday eve- Friday eve only". Is people staying over on the weekends even a thing?!

Most digs are only Monday to Friday, with that you get meals and when you are off for Christmas/ Easter/ Reading week you general don't have to pay when you are not there, they are geared towards students going home to their family at weekends. I never heard of 7 day digs before, you would be best finding an apartment or shared housing and cooking for yourself if you wanted to stay 7 days. Have a look at the website student digs, you might be lucky.

Is there any reason why it's digs you want? Can you not cook?
