Ive only recently started to wear glasses as i was finding it tiring difficult to focus on a screen/page for any length of time - especially in the evenings.

Im in my early 40's so its expected as all my family members wear glasses.

Since starting to wear these glasses I am blown away by the clear vision I have when picking up a news paper or using my computer screen.

I was told only to wear them when I was tired and they are only for short distances.

3 weeks later and Im getting very mild headaches starting after only 5 or 10 minutes of wearing them - is this normal - is it just a matter of getting used to it and the headaches will dissipate or have the glasses been incorrectly prescribed - they do feel very strong for me.

Have the headach s only started or have you had them since you started wearing the glasses? If it's been happening since you got them, I would probably go back to your optometrist and explain when you get them etc

since I started wearing them, I think its probably better described as a eye pain that a headache, its a weird feeling in the eyes and above the eyes

If it happens every time you put on the glasses since you got them, ring up your opticians and they will likely book you in to have everything rechecked
