Hi, If anybody out there could point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

Does anyone know of a website/publication which compares a number of these systems under headings like cost, perfomance, running costs etc?

Ive searched everywhere and no success!

As mentioned, help is very much appreciated, Thanks.

(i am aware that some of you will tell me it depends on the type of house, how well its installed, airtighntess and other factors etc etc. i am aware that the data will be on their websites but im just looking for an article that just gives a general bit of info/comparison)

    Thanks again!

the costs youd have to find for yourself... running costs also can be extremely subjective.

but as a good source for performances... try the SEAI HARP database for heat pumps and SAP Appendix Q for heat recovery ventilation systems

Once you have had a general look at different systems, the next step would be to run your project through PHPP (Passive House Planning Package). It is great all-round energy analysis tool, even if passivhaus is not the goal.
