    Hi all,

Looking to book a city break next week (short notice due to holidays). Has anyone any suggestions for websites etc. that offer late deals?

Thinking of London for a few nights but would go further (though not more than 2.5hrs flight). Not too bothered on location, just a few days R&R for myself and my other half!

    Any advice really appreciated.

    Hi
I have read your post. For a short break I would suggest Paris as its only a 1hr 15 min flight and it is a great city. The best part to stay in is the Opera District as it near everything. For sightseeing there is the Eiffel Tower which you can go to the top and you have fantasic views of Paris and there is also a nice cafe that do lpvely panninis. The Lorve is also a good spot to see the Mona Lisa and the Arc De Triomphe is also a must see as well as the Cathedral of Norte Dame. The best hotel to stay in is the Piaras in the Opera District as it is a lovrly hotel and it is near everything. The best website for hotels is hotels.com

You use the word best a lot, as if all those things aren't subjective!

OP go on skyscanner or google flights, see what's cheap and book something. There are a lot of nice places out there!

Some peoples Paris is other Peoples Berlin, never a huge fan of Paris myself OP, expensive people for the most part were abrubt, There is a huge amount of people trying to sell or steal stuff from you around the Eiffel Tower. Some times you are >< this close to telling them to F off.

Swings and roundabouts, Id suggest as above punch in stuff into sky scanner and booking.com and small bit of research about events that are on in the city of choice and pick one

I was in Barcelona last week. Booked flights 3 days in advance for €82. Lots of good hotels deals this time of year too.

Great city and only 2.5 hours from Dublin. Weather was surprisingly really nice.

I used Skyscanner to price flights, booked through Ryanair. Used triavago to find a hotel.

Slightly longer flight but much cheaper when you get there are all the Polish cities.
