New (different) wheel under warranty

My bike store is replacing my rear wheel under warranty , for my 10 month old road bike.

The only problem is the bike store are saying that they may not be able to get the same type of wheel as I already have ( different stickers /model etc).

Hence , I will have different front and back wheels !
Am I being fussy here or should I get a matching pair ?

What wheels are on the bike and what wheel are you getting as a replacement?

Currently have Fulcrum Racing 77 Wheels - not sure what the replacement will be

I'm guessing it's a cube, what happened the wheel? Can't they just replace the part of the wheel.

Is it cycle surgery ? They were brutal getting my wheel fixed under warranty

The freehub failed a couple of times after they replaced it- so the shop finally suggested an entire new wheel

My free hub went in the same wheel but only the once

If it's another fulcrum then it'll blend in fairly well with your current wheel. I wouldn't accept any other make wheel. All fulcrum wheels have a fairly similar design so no one will ever really notice (or care) Just make sure it's at least a 7 and not a fulcrum Sport which would be a slightly 'lesser' wheel, any smaller number (5, 3 or Quattro) is a bonus.

I also have a freehub problem on my 8-month old Giant Defy 0. I thought warranty didn't cover moving parts. Does it?

It's a bike everything moves. Warranty covers everything but normal wear and tear . A free hub should last more than 8 months
