Myself and the other half are headed to Berlin for a few nights at the end of the month and I'm looking for some recommendations. I'm not looking for food or music - just good local pubs with a good selection of local/craft beer and/or whisky.

    Thanks:)

Kreuzberg tends to be talked about as the main region for good beer bars. The Heidenpeters brewpub is there, as is Hopfenreich. In Mitte, Kaschk is popular.

Try Move Im Felsenkeller, Akazienstrasse 2 in Schoneberg just
around the corner from Kaiser Wilhelm Platz.
Small narrow local "Kneipe" with no tv or background music.
I can particularly recommend the Rothaus Pils & Jever Pils on tap.
A number of other good Pils on tap.
Around €2.80 for a 0.4L glass - the only measure available for pils on tap.
Weizen available in bottles I believe with 0.5L glasses.

Ok enjoy your trip to Berlin.
It takes 5-6 mins to pour the beer in Move im Felsenkeller.
    Worth waiting for though!!!
