landowner permission

    hey guys i'm looking for somewhere to hunt rabbits.i'm living in midleton but anywhere around cork would suit as i dont mind the travel, I have insurance sorted and can provide a cert, my licence application ready to be submitted i just need a letter of permission from a landowner.

    good luck trying lad,when i was starting out i offered my painting and decorating services free in return for some permissions,got none,it was through a mate that i now have more land than i can cover,best of luck.

    Best knock on a few doors, we all had to do it at one stage or another. Don't be discouraged if you get turned down by a few.

    Dress smart and talk confidently when you knock on the door, it's always worked for me. Joining the CAI which gives you insurance while shooting is also a big plus when approaching someone! Persistence will pay off.
