so, my beloved 2005 volvo v50 is slowly starting to cost me money after 5 years together and I need to start looking for something else. I had a quick glance what's out there after 5 years of complete ignorance of cars world and can't seem to find car that would suit me. the volvo spoiled me with few whistles like electric seat with memory, keyless entry or rain sensor. but the most importantly, it drives me crazy to try to find my seat position for two weeks after she gets her hands on it. with my current car I just press the button and all is back exactly as it was. I don't really care about anything else, well maybe engine, currently at 140 bhp i would love similar. So, what is out there with budget of 10 - maybe 12k that would have electric seat with memory in the size of volvo v50 or similar and wouldn't fall apart the next day? thanks

Skoda superb elegance I think hits your budget and afaik they have memory seats. Good reliable car. You'd get a 2010-11 model for your price range easy enough.

Kind of in the same boat. Happy with my S40, but difficult to know what to switch to without spending a good bit, given the extras a Volvo Se Lux has as standard. Nothing amazing mind, but certainly generous for a car in that segment.
