I am only on boards a couple of months and I see that a lot of people share some very personal stories, good and bad and also some people share some of their very strong opinions, that in real life they may not be as vocal about.

So do you actually know anyone from boards and did you meet through the site or did you know each other before? Or do you not know each other in person but feel that you know each other fairly well online?

I wouldn't say that I know anyone particularly but I see some posters around often and would be quite fond of them, as in I like their posts and relate to them.
