P60 question

I received my P60 for last year and the total on the form is about €700 less than my agreed yearly annual salary. However if I take my weekly pay amount and multiply it by 52 I get a figure just over my annual salary so I'm really confused.
How is the P60 amount calculated, am i due a payment from my employer in relation to last year's wages or not? I haven't spoken to my employer yet as I will need to have all the facts and understand the situation before discussing it otherwise I won't stand a chance.

your P60 should be your gross pay every week. Is there a week or two that you were outsick or on unpaid leave last year?

Thanks for your response. No unpaid leave. Was sick for 2 days only.

not necessary to talk to your employer - just go to wages clerk and ask for a gross to nett summary report .

this will show you gross pay for each of the 52 weeks

the figures on P60 correspond with the last payslip you received.
