Ideas to replace a mf 575

Just thought I'd check for some advice, my dad is thinking of replacing his mf 575, for something around the same power, with a grab for under 10k.
His loved the hydrostatic steering on the 575, and the comfort but for under 10k there are not a lot if options, seems the 3 series has went up in price.
So if he wants a mf it's probably another 5 series.
But what other tractors would you recommend?
    And what tractors to avoid?
    Thanks

We have a MF 290 with a loader, has very little done in the last decade

What is wrong with the 575? It seems like you want to change the tractor but not really upgrade in anyway, possibly even for a tractor in the same series?

If your dad likes the comfort of the 575 and it is plenty powerful enough for him and assuming there is no major issue with your 575 why not just spend some money on it to tidy it up?

If he wants to upgrade a bit from the 575 and stick with MF then the 290 would be a good choice.

I think he'd like to get it done up for sure,
but not sure of where to find people who would do it up,
and then what the cost would be,
might be simpler/cheaper to trade it in and get a different one.

What is wrong with the tractor? rotton cab ? mechanical condition?
What sort of work are you doing with it. ?
You could sink a lot of money into it fixing it but that said 10k isnt a lot of money to upgrade eithre, you could buy yourself something thats worn out too,
The two options that i have in my head are 3040/3050 john deere and 8111 zetor/912 ursus. Both would be in price range.
I work for a lad who has a 3040 2wd with a tanco loader in spotless orogonal condition who tells me its worth 6k. I have a standing offer of 10k on it if he ever wants to sell it.
    I have a 912 myself with a loader worth 5 grand.
Advantages for your father - nice light power steering , front suspension, multipower, hydraulic pto, big cab .
Disadvantages are dry brakes and they are known for oil leaks but parts are easily got and they are easy to work on. Brake discs springs and seals for mine were 150 euro, Fitting a new hydraulic pump is a 15minute job
For 80hp they are a big tractor physically compared to a massey but are then capable of a lot more.
Like i draw bales with a double bale handler with her (fusion silage bales)
You rarely need weight on the back when using the loader
